2016 OKLP State Convention Detail

 

DELEGATES

Pursuant to the Bylaws of the Oklahoma Libertarian Party, voting delegates must:

  1. Be an Enrolled Member of the OKLP and sign the "Affirmation of Principles." 
  2. Be registered as a Libertarian Voter with the State of Oklahoma
  3. Be present during voting (no proxies)
  4. Pay the Convention Fee.

GUESTS

Only delegates shall be allowed to vote during the business session.  Guests of the Convention need not pay the Convention fees.  However, lunch is available to guests with registration prior to the online deadline of Sunday April 17th.

LUNCH

Lunch is available for $7 per person (Pizza, iced tea).

NATIONAL CONVENTION DELEGATE CANDIDATES

Pursuant to the Bylaws of the Oklahoma Libertarian Party, candidates for delegate to the National Convention must:

  1. Be a registered dues paying member of the OKLP and sign the "Affirmation of Principles."
  2. Be registered as a Libertarian Voter with the State of Oklahoma
  3. Be a registered member in good standing of the National Libertarian Party

2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTOR CANDIDATES

Pursuant to the Bylaws of the Oklahoma Libertarian Party, candidates for Elector must:

  1. Be a registered dues paying member of the OKLP and sign the "Affirmation of Principles."
  2. Be registered as a Libertarian Voter with the State of Oklahoma

Elections will be held at the state convention for (7) Presidential Electors to appear on the presidential ballot and participate in the Electoral College if we are successful in November. Please contact the OKLP chair chair@oklahomaLP.org or OKLP vice chair vchair@oklahomaLP.org with your intention to run as a Presidential Elector.

OKLP OFFICER CANDIDATES

Pursuant to the Bylaws of the Oklahoma Libertarian Party, candidates for Officers of the Party must:

  1. Be a registered dues paying member of the OKLP and sign the "Affirmation of Principles."
  2. Be registered as a Libertarian Voter with the State of Oklahoma

Elections will be held at the state convention for State Chair, State Vice Chair, State Secretary, and State Treasurer.  Please contact the OKLP chair chair@oklahomaLP.org or OKLP vice chair vchair@oklahomaLP.org with your intention to run as an officer of the party.
